Contract Commitments

  

Our Commitment to a Seamless Transition 

  • Efficient Transition: We guarantee a complete transition within 120 days, adhering to our budget and ensuring there are no disruptions to operations. 
  • Strategic Partnerships: We will establish collaborative agreements with the Department of Energy (DOE) and Other Site Contractors (OSCs) to enhance our operations. 
  • Employee Engagement: We will maintain a high level of employee engagement through constant communication while addressing employee questions or concerns in a timely manner. 

  

Our Goals for Operational Excellence 

  • Safety Performance Targets: We are committed to maintaining a Total Recordable Case (TRC) rate of 0.8 (with a DOE goal of less than 1.1) and a Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred (DART) rate of 0.3 (with a DOE goal of less than 0.6). 
  • Visual Management Tools: We will implement visual management tools within the first year, enabling dashboard reviews of progress for workers, Other Site Contractors (OSCs), and PPPO regarding information and communication. 
  • Achieving VPP Star Status: We aim to achieve Voluntary Protection Program Star Status at both of our sites, reflecting our commitment to workplace safety. 
  •  Compliance Excellence: Our goal is to maintain zero compliance violations, including Notices of Violation (NOVs), Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs), and Department of Transportation (DOT) infractions.  
  •  Cybersecurity Commitment: We will strive to uphold zero violations of the PPPO CyberSecurity Program and maintain our Authority to Operate. 
  • Corporate Reviews: AtkinsRealis, WGS, and Amentum  will regularly conduct corporate reviews, to ensure ongoing compliance and performance improvement, along with our Teaming Partners.

  

Our Commitment to Responsive Operations 

  • Mitigating work disruptions: We are committed to minimizing work disruptions caused by avoidable facility and equipment failures. 
  • Data-Driven Performance Improvement: We will implement a phased approach to data collection and analysis, setting benchmarks against industry standards to drive a 10% annual performance improvement, exceeding those benchmarks. 
  • Reliable Utilities for Operations: We will strive to provide dependable utilities for all site tenants, avoiding unplanned work interruptions 


Our Operational Goals 

  • Cylinder Processing and Repackaging Commitment: We are committed to meeting process and repackaging requirements for PPPO.
  • Facility Improvements: We will complete facility improvements on schedule and within budget, ensuring that normal operations remain uninterrupted. 
  • Oxide Disposition: We will meet the PPPO goals for oxide disposition. 


Commitment to Continuous Improvement

  • Data-Driven Enhancements: We are dedicated to implementing data-driven continuous improvements that will achieve increased conversion rates. 
  • Facility Improvements: We are committed to implementing facility productivity improvements on schedule and within budget. 

 

Commitment to Waste Management Excellence 

  • Compliance Assurance: We are committed to ensuring that there are no waste acceptance criteria violations at Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs) for waste that is shipped and disposed of. 
  • Optimized Disposal Solutions: We will optimize disposal options by utilizing multiple contracted TSDFs and OEPA-permitted facilities for the pickup and disposal of sanitary waste. 
  • Advanced Waste Tracking: We will implement DOE-EM waste software at both PAD and PORTS, integrating waste inventories and enabling tracking through barcoding technology.   
  • Enhanced Waste Management Plan: We will continue to enhance our Waste Management Plan to facilitate continuous off-site shipments and disposal of uranium oxide (UOx) and heeled/empty cylinders.
