MCSA commits 20% of the total contract value to SBs, exceeding DOE’s SB subcontracting requirement of 15% of contract value by 5%. We maximize meaningful, local SB contribution to ensure program success. Our SB strategy includes (1) teaming with two SBs with demonstrated capabilities that contribute to our success, (2) minimizing impact to SBs currently performing work at the Portsmouth and Paducah sites by retaining their services, and (3) proactively identifying opportunities for local SBs and fostering their growth through regular engagement. Our aggressive focus and commitment help strengthen the local economy, creating new opportunities for SBs both immediately and long-term.
